What is the study program Medical Engineering at FAU?
Our Medical Engineering program is, just as the name implies, an engineering program. Medical Engineering students attend the same lectures in mathematics, computer science and electrical engineering as students in our other engineering programs. In addition, you will receive a basic education in medical contents and terminology. The aim of the program is to provide you with the required skills to develop technical solutions for applications in the medical context. In order to study successfully, you will not only need a solid understanding of technical contents, open-mindedness for interdisciplinary work and research, but also profound knowledge in mathematics and physics.
